At Firefly Farm and Forest, we offer weekly programs designed to embrace natural exploration, connection with the earth, and inquiry-based learning using a child-led approach. We're happy to accommodate any needs, whether financial or otherwise, and everyone is welcome in our space.
Forest Friends (3-6 years) 3 SPACES LEFT
Forest Friends (Ages 3–6) | Mondays, 10:30 AM–1:30 PM
A wonderful introduction to outdoor learning! Little explorers will discover animal footprints, try winter foraging, build cozy forts, and enjoy seasonal outdoor activities.
Cost: $350/child/season.

Homeschool Wednesdays (All Ages)
Homeschool Wednesdays (All Ages) | Wednesdays, 10:30 AM–1:00 PM
A hands-on, family-friendly program! Explore and learn in a natural setting while connecting with other like-minded families. Parent engagement is encouraged, making it a wonderful opportunity for shared discovery.
Cost: $200/child/season, siblings 50% off. Lots of space—reserve now! Begins January 7th.
Nature Navigators (7+ years) FULL!
Nature Navigators (Ages 7+) | Fridays, 10:30 AM–3:30 PM
For more experienced adventurers! Participants will dive into primitive survival skills, including fire and shelter building, map making and navigation, and tool and equipment building (think fishing rods, rafts, and more).
Cost: $600/child/season, siblings 50% off. Begins January 7th. Currently FULL.

At Firefly Farm and Forest, our monthly program Discovery Club is more than just an alternative to a desk – it's an opportunity for your child to grow, learn, and connect with the natural world.
Discovery club
Discovery Club (Ages 4+) | Monthly Drop-Off Program
A full-day adventure that brings all of Firefly together! Children will connect with our land through hands-on exploration and inquiry—playing in the mud kitchens, woodworking, experimenting with large loose parts, and venturing into the forest to build campfires, shelters, forts, and enjoy all the wonders winter has to offer. Heated spaces on the farm and in the woods (including a geodesic dome with wood stove) keep little explorers cozy.
When: 4th Tuesday of every month
Cost: $450 for a 6-month term, $800 for the year. Payment plans and flexible options available.
