Nature Playgroup (Parent and Tot)
Our Nature Playgroup program focuses on our youngest adventurers (12 months to 5 years), and provides a safe space for them to explore and learn alongside their parent (or guardian). This provides you and your child the unique opportunity to share in the wonders of the natural world, while promoting curiosity, creativity, and a sense of inquiry.
Nature Playgroup operates Saturdays beginning September 20 and ending November 8th from 10:00am to 11:30pm
Our cost is $175+hst for an 8 week session. Each additional child is 50% off.

Winter is a season of challenge and discovery, and **Nature Navigators** at **Firefly Farm & Forest** is designed for older children ready to explore, problem-solve, and build real-world skills in the forest. This program blends adventure, hands-on learning, and survival-based activities to help children grow confidence, independence, and resilience — all while having fun in nature.
Under the guidance of experienced educators, participants will take on challenges that promote critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork, all in a safe and supportive outdoor environment.
**What participants will do:**
* Build winter shelters, forts, and snow dens using natural materials
* Practice fire-building skills, safe tool use, and outdoor cooking
* Track and identify wildlife, observe seasonal changes, and understand forest ecology
* Engage in map reading, compass navigation, and basic orienteering

Bring your homeschool day to life at Firefly Farm & Forest! **Homeschool Wednesdays** offer children and their families a unique opportunity to explore, create, and learn together in a rich, outdoor environment. Designed for all ages, these sessions combine nature-based education, hands-on activities, and collaborative play to make learning meaningful and fun.

* Build, craft, and experiment at our mud kitchen and creation stations

Firefly Day Camp
During Winter Camp, our focus will change slightly to accommodate the changing seasons. We will have our usual offerings available, as well as:
-snow shelter building
-tobogganing
-pond hockey
-Daily campfires
- Exploring the creek as it changes with the seasons
Take advantage of our small group sizes (16 total children each week), and separate age groups (5 to 8 and 9 to 12)!
Winter Camp will operate from the week of December 29, 30, 31, and January 2nd, 930 to 230. There is an option for before and after care!
Our weekly registration cost is $210+hst or $55/day!
